This is the personal website of Miguel Paz Figueroa, software engineer: his profile, projects and blog. It is an outreach site: it does not sell or offer services.

What data I process. This site has no forms or accounts. I only process what you send me by email: your address and the content of your message.
Why and on what basis (emails). To reply to you and, if your enquiry leads to a project, to prepare it. The legal basis is my legitimate interest in answering your enquiry and, where applicable, steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (GDPR art. 6.1 f and b).
How long. For as long as the conversation lasts and, afterwards, only as required by law.
Who else sees it. No one, except the providers that make it possible, as processors: email is handled by OVHcloud (OVH SAS, Francia, Unión Europea) and the site is hosted by Contabo GmbH (Alemania, Unión Europea). I do not share your data with third parties or transfer it outside the European Economic Area.
Your rights. You can request access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction or portability by writing to the same email. If you believe your data has been mishandled, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es).
Analytics and cookies
This site uses no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. To count visits it uses Umami, running on the same server as the site: it counts visits in aggregate, without cookies and without storing your IP address or anything that identifies you. If your browser sends “Do Not Track”, not even that.
